Brief Description: 

The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, labor, tools, equipment, and supervision for the completion of all the works of the project as indicated on the plans, specifications and contract documents.

Remarks: 
Prospective bidders should possess licenses/permits applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC 2 will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC 2 will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid. All particulars relative to the bidding process (from eligibility check up to the award of the contract) and implementation of the project shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Regulations (IRR) and applicable Annexes. The schedule of bidding activities is as follows: 1. Deadline of submission of letter of intent and registration/legal documents. 16 July 2013 (Tuesday) Office of the BAC 2 Secretariat, UPM Property & Supply Office 2. Issuance of bid documents to those that submitted LOI and whose legal documents are complete and in order. Payment for Bid Documents – PhP5,000.00 Order of payment shall be issued at the Office of the BAC 2 Secretariat 02 July 2013 (Tuesday) to 16 July 2013 (Tuesday) 3. Ocular/Site Inspection (Note: Prospective bidders who opt to conduct their own ocular/site inspection shall coordinate with the end-users (OETS, PGH) 30 July 2013 (Tuesday) Meeting Place: OETS, PGH, Time: 10:00 am 4. Pre-Bidding Conference 30 July 2013 (Tuesday) Meeting Place: A.G.Sison Conference Room, College of Medicine Time: 1:30 pm 5. Dropping of bids 13 August 2013 (Tuesday), not later than 11:30 am at the Internal Audit Office, 8/F PGH 6. Opening of bids 13 August 2013 (Tuesday), 1:30 pm A.G. Sison Conference Room, College of Medicine, UP Manila Prospective bidders (those who submitted letter of intent within the deadline) shall be informed of any change in the above schedule. The University of the Philippines Manila assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
