INVITATION TO BID

The University of the Philippines Manila, through its Bids and Awards Committee II (BAC 2), invites interested parties to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder contract:

Name of Contract: Facilities Management Services Including the Repair and Maintenance Services of Biomedical and Non-Biomedical Equipment of the Department of Pay Patient Services, Philippine General Hospital, University of the Philippines Manila.

Brief description: PGH is in need of a third party Services Provider (TPSP) who shall cover the management services, repair and maintenance of all biomedical and non-biomedical equipment and facilities of PGH that are connected and linked to paid Services.

Approved Budget (ABC): Php26,000,000.00 Twenty Six Million Pesos
for the Contract

Contract Duration: One (1) Year

Prospective bidders should possess applicable permit/license for the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment available for the prosecution of the contract. The BAC 2 will use non-discretionary pass/fail criteria in the Eligibility Check as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids. The BAC 2 will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

All particulars relative to the bidding process (from eligibility check up to the award of the contract) and implementation of the project shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Regulations (IRR) and applicable Annexes.

The University of the Philippines Manila assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.

UP Manila reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formality or defects therein, or to accept such bids as may be considered most advantageous to UP Manila.
